In 2001, Bindlestiff Family Cirkus presented their first themed theatrical production. Until this time, Bindlestiff had primarily produced its legendary variety show. Produced at the befittingly rat-infested Present Company Theatorium, Down & Out was the story of the "low lifes of the city" finding thier own "Quality of Life" under the repressive forces of the mayor. Amongst the juggling of trash bags, cops beat clowns and street performers burnt cash to stay warm.
Philomena hosts your tour through the luxurious gutters of a city that never sleeps.
