New Year’s Eve Millbrook (NYEM) is not a fundraiser for the Rotary—it costs $32,000 to put on–but is a community event, a gift from the many local benefactors and sponsors who underwrite it. Individuals or businesses who would like to help support to the event can send their tax-deductible donations to The Millbrook Rotary Foundation, and mailed to PO Box 261, Millbrook NY 12545.
NYEM would not be possible without the help of community organizations. Thanks to the Village of Millbrook, the Millbrook Lions Club, and the Millbrook Central School District, and the Millbrook Fire Department. The Rotary is fortunate to have the support of local community foundations that have underwritten some of the expenses: Millbrook Tribute Garden, the Dyson Foundation, the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley, the Thomas and Agnes Carvel Foundation , and Stewart’s Shop. In addition, owners of local Millbrook businesses are great supporters and the Rotary encourages everyone to patronize their business establishments. Also many private individuals have donated to help us bring this popular celebration to the community.
